Andy and his team at Soundstream were "5 stars" across the board. For all of you getting started in the wedding vendor selection process it is tough to know where to start... we checked out both bands and DJs and spent time meeting with those we thought we were "compatiable" with (both financially and personality wise). Andy stood out. He nailed the exact mix of professionalism and knowledge of running an event with the laid-back and calm attitude we wanted. So many of the DJs, in particular, that we met with, were "hard-sell" or completely over the top (think "zany morning radio show guys", no offense, but not what we had in mind). Beyond that, Andy worked with us in getting the right mix of music selected for a diverse wedding crowd including many age groups... bottom line... the dance floor was packed all night and everyone had a blast! Soundstream Music Service was on a list of preferred vendors for our banquet hall. I called all the vendors on the list to find out what services were provided and prices. Andy from Soundstream responded the most quickly and the rates Soundstream provided were the least expensive out of all ten vendors on the list. We booked our service about a year in advance. Soundstream did our wedding and reception. We discussed all of the music; the "do" and "don't" plays, the bridal music, the announcements, cake cutting, significant dances, bouquet and garter toss. Andy also helped me with the typical order of these events (I really had no idea!) to make everything go smoothly. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. Toward the big day I requested an itinerary of all the songs played for the day and I received one promptly, via email, which REALLY eased my mind. All phone calls and emails were responded to within 1 business day (Brides, I cannot tell you what a relief that is!). I called a few days before the wedding to see if it would be possible to have an additional half hour on the 8 hour package. They had absolutely no problem being flexible, and didn't even charge me for the extra time! Andy and another gentleman from Soundstream arrived promptly on the wedding day; they were both dressed very professionally for the event. Every song was played when scheduled, without a single hitch. They provided a lapel mic for our pastor since the wedding was outside. Sound quality was excellent. During the reception Andy helped my bridal party get in the correct order for announcements, prompted us for cake cutting, first dances, bouquet and garter toss. Even though some of my guests requested songs from the "do not play" list, the DJ's refrained. The music was upbeat and fun with some slow songs in between and we had a steady 40 people on the dance floor ALL night. Bottom line, I did not have to think or worry about ANYTHING on my wedding day, and the cost of the service didn't break the bank. Soundstream is EXACTLY what you should be looking for in a DJ. I plan to refer them to everyone I know in the area.

And the LED light effects were just fantastic, perfect complement to the fun music. My wife and I highly recommend Andy from Soundstream Music Service. He was always available via email and phone whenever we had questions prior to our wedding. He gave us a great list of songs on our initial visit to go through. Andy met with us about a month before our wedding and we were able to sit down with him and discuss everything.
